This verse has incredible importance to us as Christians. Too often, we fail to recognize that we need to be so careful about the words that we speak - over others and over ourselves.

In the New Testament Jesus reminds us that we can speak to mountains and, with faith as tiny as a mustard seed, we can command that they to be removed.

We are called upon to believe in our hearts and confess with our tongues. Even Christ, when tempted by the devil on that lonely mountain top in Matthew Chapter 4, spoke the word of God in His defense. For His Word is sharper than any double-edged sword, and it rightly divides... Amen.

So Speak God's word over your life, even right now. For God says we're blessed and more than conquerors. We can do all things through Him, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, so speak it without intimidation, and eat the fruit thereof.
